Pizzabar141 is going to be a great addition to the local neighborhood
For a business only open two weeks, these fine people certainly have most of the wrinkles ironed out. As soon as we entered, the staff was friendly, efficient and extremely helpful. The sheer number of people from the neighborhood walking in and getting takeout shows that word is getting out quickly about this great new local spot for pizza. For years, there was another restaurant business at this location, but for the life of me, I can’t remember what it was. It seemed dark and un-exciting. The new location is bright and inviting and it was this alone that brought it to our attention. So close to home, this is a spot that we drive by almost everyday and the new and inviting look brought us in. The newly renovated space is very easily viewed from the busy Woodbury Rd and the bright lights and glass windows make it very inviting to stop in for a bite to eat. Serving all of the traditional slices of pizza you will find in a pizza restaurant, add some garlic knots, salads, soups, appetizers, takeout and delivery, plus catering menu items by the tray and you’ve got yourself a nice place to provide food for the upcoming party or gathering at the house.
“you’ve got yourself a nice place to provide food for the upcoming party or gathering at the house”
We didnt know what to expect when we got there so when we cozied up to the bar, we settled on a pinwheel with spinach, some garlic knots, and a couple of slices of pizza. The counter staff seemed genuinely happy that we were there and offered help and made suggestions for us to try. A traditional pizza oven is there to warm up a slice and large glass displays lets you see the various slices available to eat. The food came out hot and was really very good. I commented to the (owner/manager?) how good the crust of the pizza was and we spoke a bit about the new restaurant and the great new look facing the street. Booths and counter seating on the right hand side as you enter make it inviting to come in and have a quick bite. While the counter seems very walk-in friendly for those stopping on the way home from work. Judging by the parking lot, I’m sure this new place will be a great new addition of lifeblood to the shopping center as it was the busiest I have ever seen it. Both the liquor store and the mini-mart will sure benefit from their new neighbor in this plaza. Come in to see what’s new in the area and try some of the very good food they have to offer, and I’m sure you’ll agree that Pizzabar141 is going to be a great addition to the local neighborhood. Once we come again and try some more of the menu items, and try the catering/ delivery, I’m sure I’ll be updating my review to five stars in the future. I’m not entirely sure, but I was told that there would be an upcoming addition of beer and wine. Look forward to their success and really look forward to trying some more of what they have to offer. All the best luck in their new endeavor.
